The ham was looking at me, the only one left at the grocery store. I didn’t want to do it, but I brought all seven pounds home, and as I already knew, it is a lot of ham for two people. So we have had delicious leftovers for a while. I even made some ham broth, and shamelessly tried the marrow. The dinner below featured a made-on-the-spot leek and potato soup, and homemade demi baguettes.
